Many people do not realize that employee engagement looks and feels different across cultures, however, this has become an increasingly important topic for HR and global management teams. We measure engagement across several emotional responses, such as a sense of urgency and focus at work, among others. The way these emotions are shown differ per culture, making engagement hard to measure and manage. Our next roundtable looks at how engagement can be shown and what we can do to engage teams cross culturally.
